McLean County Officials Endorse Darin LaHood for Congress

Peoria, IL – Darin LaHood, Republican candidate for the 18th Congressional seat, today announced the endorsement from multiple elected officials from across McLean County. These elected officials represent the values and principles of the families from across McLean County.

“I am honored to have the support of such strong leaders from across McLean County,” said LaHood. “Families across McLean County deserve a conservative leader in Washington who will get serious about our $18 trillion debt crisis, cut wasteful government spending, and work for term limits to get rid of the career politicians in both parties.”

George Wendt, McLean County Board: “Darin LaHood is the conservative candidate families throughout McLean County need representing them in Washington. He will stay true to his conservative principles and values and will fight for term limits to get rid of the career politicians on both sides of the aisle.”

Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16): “As the Chief of an Anti-Terrorism Unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Darin has the type of experience that is desperately needed in Washington. I look forward to working with him to eliminate the threat of terrorism and ensure our national security.”

Congressman Rodney Davis (IL-13): “I’m excited to serve with Darin in Congress and fight side-by-side for the top priorities of McLean County, like agriculture, transportation, and higher education. His conservative voice will be a much-needed addition to help us put a stop to Washington’s addiction to bigger government and out-of-control spending and borrowing.”

State Senator Bill Brady: “As someone who has worked side-by-side with Darin for the past four years, it would be an honor for me to see him serving Illinois families in Congress. Darin will fight to create openness and transparency in government and tackle the $18 trillion debt that is crippling our economy.”

State Representative Dan Brady: “Darin LaHood has a proven record of being a fiscal conservative and supporting legislation that improves the business climate in Illinois, and I know he will continue that record in Washington. As a small business owner, I understand the struggles facing employers and that is why I am supporting Darin.”
